What people are saying about us PDF Print E-mail

As a resident of East Brunswick for seven years, my two kids and I have sampled multiple children's activities.  Satori Academy and its teachers have topped my list for their professionalism and warmth with children.  The teachers successfully combine fun with consistent discipline, enabling my kids to really enjoy their classes.  When children enjoy their activity, there is no limit to the self-esteem and the physical and mental fitness they acquire through learning Martial Arts.  Satori Academy has changed my preconceived notion that Martial Arts is all about fighting.  They have taught my kids humility, integrity, and respect for themselves and others.  The opportunity to just try a class at Satori Academy is too valuable to pass up.

Our children have been in class at Satori Academy in East Brunswick since the first day the school opened.  Our main goals are for our children to learn how to become more confident, focused, self-disciplined and if necessary, to defend themselves.  Satori’s martial arts curriculum is fulfilling our goals. The program's well- structured curriculum and highly skilled instructors teach our children to be confident and strong minded individuals.  The instructors are kind, caring, and willing to help each child individually depending on his or her needs.  We see our children having fun while becoming more physically fit and benefiting from a program that will last a lifetime.  Our children look forward to going to each and every one of their classes in addition to being very determined to achieve their goal of becoming a black belt sometime in the future.

Satori Academy has helped my kids build the confidence they need to be the best they can be in school, sports and in anything that they do.  I admire the way the instructors stress good values like respect, integrity, humility and perseverance since it reinforces what they learn at home and in school.  I also like the manner in which they present martial arts to the kids as a form of discipline with a sense of responsibility but in a fun-filled environment.  My kids just love their training and have made a lot of new friends as well.

Satori Academy has also helped me thru my own martial arts training. The instructors and the students provide a positive environment that encourages me to push my limits which has allowed me to achieve things that I never thought possible.  They helped me bring a positive attitude to all aspects of my life and made me realize the importance of self development not just physically but as a whole.  They have also reminded me that we are all responsible for each other and how a little help or a kind word goes a long way to make it a better world for everyone.
